Encuesta y Uli

Hacía eones que no ponía una encuesta. En fin, ahí está a la derecha a vuestra disposición, queridos lectores. Podéis votar varias opciones.

Por cierto, hace unos días hice a Ulises autor del blog, con lo que además de entradas conjuntas como las que llevamos haciendo desde verano podrá publicar las suyas propias. A ver cómo se porta.

Compras manga de enero

Hace medio mes, de segunda mano, en perfectísimo estado y por poco más de la mitad de su precio normal, compré:
-Fushigi Yûgi 1-18 (entera). Me está gustando bastante, ya la comentaré cuando termine. De todos modos a saber lo que tardo, porque fijaos qué abandonado tengo el manga últimamente que al ritmo de lectura que llevaba hasta hace unos pocos meses ya casi me lo hubiera terminado de leer y al actual llevo solo 3 tomos y pico :S

Y eso es todo, porque hoy al salir de un examen me he pasado por la tienda y no había nada de lo que quería. A este paso Dr. Slump me la voy a comprar entera de golpe ¬¬

El guardián entre el centeno

En general, a las grandes obras de la literatura universal, las buenas de verdad, no se las lee (no me iréis a decir que tenéis a Shakespeare o Quevedo en la mesilla de noche), para empezar porque el lector medio asocia la calidad literaria con algo aburrido y de difícil comprensión (muchas veces es así, para qué engañarnos). El lector medio lo que quiere es algo con lo que entretenerse, sin más, y por eso los best sellers son a menudo todos iguales y muy pobres, por mucho que enganchen y gusten.

Pues bien, El guardián entre el centeno es la prueba de que no siempre esas grandes obras, que se siguen estudiando generaciones después de su publicación, son de difícil acceso. Tampoco requieren necesariamente un argumento enrevesado ni hacen gala de un uso del lenguaje complicado o rimbombante.

Y es que esta novela, siendo de las mejores y más importantes que se han escrito en el siglo XX, utiliza un lenguaje coloquial y sencillísimo, sin alardes, que sin embargo está tremendamente elaborado al quedar perfecto en la historia que cuenta. Una historia que, por otro lado, es tan insulsa y poco interesante en sí misma que ni he puesto la sinopsis del libro. De hecho, prácticamente no tiene argumento. Y aun así, sin que pase casi nada engancha una barbaridad por la manera en que está escrito, es entretenidísimo y a través de sus continuas e interesantes digresiones no importa que la trama casi no avance.

SEXY LEGS!

To begin the weekend, I thought we should have a casual look at some sexy legs.

I found this picture of Angie Harmon, now her legs are not really shaped to perfection, my opinion, but she has sexy, beautiful legs.... naturally the high heeled sandals are doing their bit to improve the shape of her legs.



Cheryl Cole has beautiful legs, quite well shaped. She looks very feminine in this picture. Just love those red lips!



Ashley Greene, first time in my blog, flaunting a pair of beautiful legs. Love the high heeled peep toes.



Jaime Pressly is one of my favorites, her legs are quite well shaped and she loves to show them off.



Another girl with lovely legs, Julie Benz... I think she is a really gorgeous girl and she looks fabulous in this pic. The shortish dress paired with the heels compliment her legs tremendously well.



Guess who!! Be honest now... do you recognize her...?? I will be honest, I wouldn't have.....



She is one of my favorites, actually she is everyone's favorite...
Now you recognize her....!! Now her legs are above average for sure, and those C L Pigalles really do their part to shape them calves into perfection.

Is Google Fooling India?

After the Chinese demands for Arun achal Pradesh, Google now has started FOOLING Indians as well!
Google shows different maps to Indians and Chinese.
In the Indian Version, it shows “ Arunachal Pradesh” as a Disputed region(Not even a part of India)
where as in the Chinese version, it shows Arun achal Pradesh as an INTEGRAL PART of CHINA!
