Tuesday morning

Just got back from a short 3 hour trip out of Delcambre. Its that time of year to catch some red fish in lake Peigner. Unfortunately the wind killed my fishing after the initial 30 minutes. I managed to catch 2 redfish on a chartreause colored top dog. The tide was incoming, and the water was decent looking. I fished behind Live oak gardens on Jefferson Island. Once the wind dies down this week, this will be a good place to go catch some red fish. Dont even bother with the bay. The water looks terrible, especially with the wind blowing. However there were alot of shrimp in the intracoastal waterway. So im sure on an outgoing tide you may beable to pick up some redfish on a carolina rig at the mouth of Bayou Tigre or just maybe the mouth of the Avery. But if your up for some bass fishing I would head to Quintana or Centerville borrow pits. With the wind blowing like this for the next few days concentrate your fishing to the early mornings or the late afternoons. Well thats all I have for now. Good luck to everyone and again be safe out there.
